  • Yes, since 2017, I’ve predominantly served 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals through my private practice and, for nearly 3 years, as a counsellor and manager at The 519 in Toronto.

    I identify as a bisexual, cisgender woman.

  • Yes, I’ve worked with diverse populations in Toronto’s non-profit sector since 2012 and in my private practice since 2017, particularly with newcomers, refugees and adult children of immigrants.

    I identify as a white-passing, Southwest Asian / Middle-Eastern (SWANA), first-generation immigrant and settler who came to Canada as a refugee during childhood.

  • Yes, I have supported people living with ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities and other disabilities, in both individual and group contexts.

    I also identify as a neurodivergent person who lives with chronic illness and chronic pain.

  • I welcome discussions on religion and spirituality if it’s meaningful to you. My practice is also safe for those who are not spiritual or religious.

  • I adapt my methods to each client’s needs, drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches, tools and perspectives.

  • Trauma-Informed Practice is a universal lens prioritizing safety, choice, trust, collaboration and empowerment.

    Whereas Trauma-Specific Therapy directly addresses trauma using structured, evidence-based methods (e.g., EMDR, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Therapy).

  • We’ll review important information, answer your questions, and explore your circumstances, needs and goals.

    Together we’ll decide:

    • whether short-term (minimum 6 sessions) OR long-term services are best for you

    • discuss the frequency of sessions (between every 2-6 weeks) that fits your needs

  • I work with women, queer, BIPOC, immigrant and neurodivergent adults (18–55) in Ontario, Nova Scotia and Alberta, as well as professionals and organizations serving these communities.

  • Every 2–6 weeks, depending on your availability, budget and needs.

    Services can be short-term, goal-specific, or long-term.

  • I provide guidelines for group-based counselling or consultation to help create emotional safety, openness and reconnection.

  • I’m a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Ontario, Nova Scotia and Alberta.

    • Degrees in Psychology, Cultural Anthropology and Social Work

    • Clinical training in ACT, IFS, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Sex Therapy, SFBT, Somatic Attachment Therapy

    • Leadership training in DEI, Dare to Lead™, and the Diamond Power Index™

    • 10+ years of experience in Toronto’s nonprofit sector and in private practice
